I first started traveling through books while growing up in the western part of North Carolina. I was very fortunate that my mother owned a bookstore until my fifth-grade year. Reading ‘The Swiss Family Robinson‘, and others, truly opened my imagination up to tropical beaches, deserts, and other exotic locales. Julie and I have been very fortunate with travel for the last ten years. Our five years in Kyiv, Ukraine gave us a great opportunity to travel Europe. Now we are based in Bangkok and have started to explore Asia.
Whenever we return home to North Carolina our friends comment how they enjoy following our travels on social media…mainly Facebook. I get lots of requests for more content, so TodddyPrints is my solution. Something that I’ve been piping on about for some time.
I seem to be interested in most things through my love of reading just about anything. So I hope to share not only the journeys and locations of our travel, but also the history, music, food, arts, geology, and most importantly…the people. I intend to talk about anything and everything, so buckle up and please allow me to be your raconteur about my adventure of being human.

Todd, you’re a fine writer! I’m enjoying your blog very much. And I love your spirit for embracing the world and its inhabitants. Also, you were a super cute kid 😊
Thanks Joy, especially that Chicken Pot Pie!
